Nigerians tip Onazi for success at new club

Eagles-Fans-Kaduna

Nigerian football fans have expressed their optimism over the future of Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi at his new Turkish side Trabzonspor.

The combative and hard working midfielder adored by larger percentage of the Super Eagles supporters ended his four years romance with Italian outfit Lazio last month after agreeing to a reported €5m deal switch to the Super Lig.

Reacting to his new challenge in Turkey, Nigerians aired their opinions on what they expect from the new Trabzonspor man and how much impact he will have for the Black Sea Storm which will in turn rub off on his performance for the Eagles as they prepare for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

“A lot of impact, as he’s a midfield dynamo playing just at the front of defence(defensive midfield), but helps the team a lot in attack. A midfielder every developing club like Trabzonspor. So his
signing was a very good one for the team.” A fan by the name Kelechi Diribe stated.
